Composition: Hydrocortisone Acetate IP 1% w/w

Therapeutic Category: Anti-inflammatory

Mechanism of Action: Hydrocortisone acetate, a mild corticosteroid, exhibits anti-inflammatory, anti-pruritic, and vasoconstrictive properties. It functions by suppressing the release of inflammatory mediators, thereby alleviating inflammation, itching, and associated symptoms.

Indications:

Indicated for the relief of inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of various corticosteroid-responsive skin conditions, such as eczema, dermatitis, and insect bites.

Dosage:

Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected skin area, once/twice a day for a maximum period of one week. If the condition has not improved, or worsens, consult your doctor. This product should not be recommended for use on children under 10 years of age without medical advice. The frequency and duration of use should be in accordance with medical advice, and the treatment should be discontinued once the condition improves.
